As we travel along the spectacular Atlantic coastline of the Peninsula, we pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sands and azure blue water. The 12 Apostles Mountain Peaks rise above the road on one side, while sheer cliffs and incredible rock formations drop into the icy Atlantic Ocean on the other side.
We visit the charming little fishing village of Hout Bay, where you will enjoy an optional boat trip to see the hundreds of Cape Fur Seals at Seal Island. Our journey continues over Chapman’s Peak which offers amazing photo opportunities, and on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Visit the most South-Western point of the African Continent at Cape of Good Hope and the mythical but not geographical meeting place of the mighty Atlantic and Indian Oceans at Cape Point. We visit the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town.
On conclusion of the day’s activities we travel towards your accommodation passing the birth place of the South African wine industry at Constantia and can even end the day with a visit to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens(optional).
